Lauren Torrisi-Gorra is a Registered Dietitian based in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. A multidimensional background in culinary arts and lifestyle journalism propelled Lauren to pursue her passion of nutrition.
Lauren received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, Lincoln Center. There, she spent her time exploring New York's emerging wellness world and interned at some of the most prestigious beauty and nutrition magazines.
With the knowledge that a background in culinary arts was essential to her future goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian, Lauren received her Grand Diplôme in Culinary Arts from the rigorous French Culinary Institute. She honed her skills further by working in several NY Times-rated three star restaurants.
After a decade working in the culinary and media worlds, Lauren pursued her ultimate passion and received her Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at New York University. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
When Lauren isn't working with clients or testing recipes, you can find her working out, gardening, obsessing over interior design (especially antiques!) or spending time with her husband and two daughters, Chloe and Lily.
